Review of American Graffiti (1973) by Patrick C — 25 Jul 2008
Really well done film. Amazingly acted and very very well crafted. Lucas pieces the stories together seamlessly and manages to portray the changing lives of his characters in a believable and heartfelt way.
Makes "Dazed and Confused" and the other more recent coming of age movies look like the tired ripped off cliches that they are. That being said, none of these films interests me in terms of story hence my low rating.
However, craftwise, this is fine fine work!
