35 years later, "American Graffiti" remains as fresh as the day it was released. Given his difficulty coaxing convincing performances out of some very good actors in the second "Star Wars" trilogy, it's amazing that George Lucas directed a movie chock full of them in 1973.
Plus, the greatest rock and roll soundtrack ever.
