Review of American Graffiti (1973) by Itamar K — 10 Aug 2009
A sweet little period piece, with a good soundtrack and some good early performances from would-be stars. Overall, though, it's really nothing special, and wouldn't have received its cult following if it wasn't for the fact that George Lucas directed it.
And like his latter films, it suffers from flat characters and bad dialog, but without the wild imagination to back it up.
