Review of American Graffiti (1973) by Marc R — 02 Dec 2011
A funny, authentic, and brilliantly realized portrait of transitions and final days of innocence. Lucas gets performances out of his cast that can only be described as perfect. The soundtrack and sense of time and place are equally flawless.
Yet this is a film with themes that will apply to the adolescence of any time period. This is the film I watch at the end of every summer.
