Historically significant for opening the genre of school comedy, American Graffiti is undoubtedly influential in the US. However, for global audience, its echo is much weaker for not sharing the common background.
If you lack a memorable high school life, you may just feel it boring like I did. But with the young Ron Howard, Charles Martin Smith and, most astonishingly, Harrison Ford, it can still grant you an acceptable viewing experience.
