This is a sad, bad little film, wasting the cast and lots of provocative potential. You'd think Dubya and American/Pop Idol would be prime targets for satire, but this mess is all over place, and it's a shame.
Watch "Fahrenheit 9/11" and read Ben Elton's "Chart Throb" instead, they respectively hit the same targets as "American Dreamz" with much more perception and humour. Omar's cousin was cool though.
