Review of American Beauty (1999) by Nate O — 17 Nov 2012

This is one of those movies that touchâ(TM)s on all parts of humanity. The beauty of this movie is that it teaches you. Youâ(TM)re not just watching another movie you are feeling it with your soul. I watched this movie for the first time when I was 17 years old.

Iâ(TM)m now knocking on the door of 30 and the movie has a whole new meaning to it. It means to me that even though life seems to be a crap shoot there is some kind of good in everything, you just have to feel it.

When I think of Spacey at his finest this is the movie that comes to mind. This is his best hands down. I did not know until the closing credits that Alan Ball was the writer for this. That would be why I watched all 6 seasons of âSix Feet Underâ? in one month.

This is one of my top 5 movies of all times.
