Review of American Beauty (1999) by Zach S — 17 Nov 2012
American Beauty is an intriguing, moving film about..quite a lot actually. Sometimes its a social commentary on middle class suburban life, sometimes its a black comedy satiring that, and sometimes its about a character finding his way out of the dull and sedated pit that is now his life.
Whatever it is; American Beauty is still a great, entertaining movie and one of my new favorites.
