This is a "B+" (88 marks) movie. (DVD) The first movie by Sam Mendes (Skyfall, Lawless, The Road to Perdition) about the phony style of the American family life. It is told through Lester Burnham( played by Kevin Spacey), a man in his mid-40s going through an intense midlife crisis.
Very enlightening and enjoyable film. This is the dark kind of story we normally find in European films but seldom see in Hollywood movies. Director Sam Mendes did a great job by providing us a lightened and satirical version of the American late 90s.
Life is full of beauties and it is way too much for anyone who has a heart to see the fleeing beauty of it.
