Review of American Beauty (1999) by Horvath S — 11 Nov 2013
A look into a seemingly perfect suburbia. Painfully realistic and disturbingly satirical, this is the kind of movie that changes the way we see things. Great storytelling coupled with a talented cast. Kevin Spacey owned the 90's in my opinion.
They say it's overrated but I beg to differ. After all, it came out in 1999 which, among other things, was called "A year that changed movies". I think it did just that.
