American Beauty follows the life's of a family, each dealing with different problems based around sexuality. Kevin Spacey is awoken from his boring life when he sees one of his daughter's friends and becomes infatuated with her.
His wife starts sleeping with a competitor and makes he become more outgoing, while the daughter finds love with a creepy neighbor that makes her realize she is plenty beautiful.
