Watching this film in the aftermath of Kevin Spacey's fall from grace, I expected to feel icky, and I did. However, this film is still incredible; it totally holds up. Annette Bening, Thora Birch, and ,yes, Kevin Spacey give incredible performances.
Allan Ball's script a strange combination of deadpan humor and morose dialogue, but is somehow works.
