Review of American Beauty (1999) by Zeno G — 24 Mar 2013

Everyone talked about this film over the years but I could not get myself in the mood of watching it. Today it finally happened but I have to say, I'm a little disappointed. The idea and the story are insteresting, the casting is also hilarious, but considering the large cult following and stuff what is around this movie, I expected something bigger.

I was expecting an 'explosion' during the film, but it ended with a cliche and the desired explosion didn't happen. The only problem is, that I feel it could have happened... Decent movie though.
