Review of American Assassin (2017) by Tvjerry — 18 Sep 2017
This is the latest CIA scramble to save the world from nuclear disaster. Dylan O'Brien plays a new recruit who continually goes rogue, nothing new here. Even the strict leadership of his hardened trainer (Michael Keaton) doesn't stop his fearless determination to destroy terrorists.
While the story isn't original and there are moments that strain credibility, the film is well paced, the action scenes are full of hard-hitting hand-to-hand combat and the final showdown packs a wallop.
Mindless, but entertaining.
