Dylan was great, he played his part well. The script on the other hand definitely played with the original story for those that read the books. But in the end I get why they needed to change some things.
Times change and the story needed to be in this century. Also shooting a guy on a park bench for your first kill doesn't really have the action needed for the big screen.
