Awesome movie, didn't exactly follow the book but close enough for a Sunday movie. People who have lived life in a uniform will love it, the clean fingernails / wonderbread crowd (most prof reveiwers) won't. It is WAY NOT politically correct, and way 'America 1st'.
I was skeptical about the lead Dylan Obrien, kind of wanted someone 'bigger' and more threatening, but I think he pulled if off well.
The filming is very "Bourne Supremacy", fast action with rapid cuts and no time to think about what just happened. Like a real gun battle, but again, prof critics have never been in a real gun battle.
Great job all in all. Keaton was very good as Stan Hurley. Irene was good as well.
5 stars all the way.
