Different from the novel, but perhaps even better. The casting is PERFECT, and they have the characters spot on. We LOVED this movie, and will probably see it again--which we don't do often. It was an exciting ride.
I was most worried about the torture scene, but it wasn't too bad, and was shorter than in the book. Ignore the movie critics, and do yourself a favor. Don't miss American Assassin!
