This is adept and confident filmmaking at its finest. Sure-handed direction from top to bottom. Moves at a perfect pace. It's interesting, it's compelling, it's emotional, it's hilarious, it's thrilling.
It's everything you want in a movie, and manages to take a small contained story and make it feel like a crime drama epic. This director, Bart Layton, is one to watch.
