Review of America: Imagine the World Without Her (2014) by Frank P — 08 Jul 2014
Another great documentary by Dinesh D'Souza!! In this doc film, Dinesh very expertly takes down the progressive liberal interpretation of American history by Howard Zinn that has been so praised by liberals and preached like fact when it is simply an interpretation of history not fact. To counter Zinn, Dinesh goes to A. de Tocqueville's work, Democracy in America, which does counter every argument that Zinn makes. Rather, Dinesh rightly places the blame of nations conquering nations simply as the way it's always been throughout history and America is by far not the worst offender. He also goes into the progressive rewriting of history & strategy to change America by S. Alinsky and the ties that bind him to Obama and Hillary...but he doesn't just leave it there but leaves the viewer with a challenge to not accept the left's rewriting of history but to challenge it at every turn. Dinesh is certainly every bit of the documentary filmmaker equal of Michael Moore but the media will never cop to it. To say that Dinesh is the only filmmaker to give his own money to campaigns and causes he believes in through straw donations is quite the fallacy because I'm sure Michael Moore amongst others have done it, the difference being that Dinesh did that with Obama and Holder in power & made films to challenge the left's strategy to.
Remake America.
