Review of America: Imagine the World Without Her (2014) by Jude Newlin S — 11 Jul 2014
Really, really good! Perfect? No, but no such thing. He makes excellent points, reminds us of facts that people used to know 30-40 years ago. I love that 'critics' hate it, mocking what they can't spin. Real people love it! My local Harkins relegated it to the tiniest theater way in the back of the complex, but it was FULL.
To pro-American Americans: We are up against it. There is just too much stupid among our fellow citizens. Example of a critique of the movie:
"So to be clear just because slavery wasn't invented by America it was OK?[No genius, it means slavery isn't an exclusively American sin, it is a HUMAN sin.] Sorry Native Americans the small pox thing was a natural disease that you just were not prepared for [Indians have accused America of genocide against them and the filmmaker points out that the diseases which wiped out so many indians were completely unintentional, and while it is tragic it cannot be compared to true genocides in the past and even ongoing today!] and Christopher Columbus was Spanish not American just saying. Oh and Mexicans, bet you would have liked it if we had just kept your whole country after our war [Mexicans have actually expressed that sentiment-Dinesh simply shared it with the audience.] . . . right? Um . . . do not see this movie under any circumstance!".
How to combat all the stupid and the glassy-eyed Eloi peopling America today?!
