Looks like the bigger story here is the disconnect of the reviewers from the audience.
After watching the movie, I think that it could be really educational to present to students both D'Souza's and Michael Moore's movies and let them study by independent research followed by a debate. However, being an independent myself, I would still bet that the left wings guys will run away from this challenge. I will be delighted if proven wrong.
