Review of America: Imagine the World Without Her (2014) by Lisa N — 16 Apr 2015
Dinesh always sees America from a different prospective. I didn't know there was a black successful businesswoman named Madam C. Walker. I loved her story and wonder why her example isn't set as an example in our schools.
Or that black slave owner and breeder William Ellison was one of the biggest & nastiest slave owners in the south. Or that there were more free black slave owners that white ones. I've learned so much about how the Texicans wanted to be a part of the new America and Santa Ana, a slave owner, wanted nothing to do with it.
We didn't steal Mexico, we gave them a chance to be free, like us. The native Americans fought each other to take territory from each other and to blame the white man for doing to them, what they did to each other, is utterly ridiculous.
I'm tired of Democrats & Liberals trying to make me feel ashamed of my country. I love America and Dinesh showed me why. I loved this show.
