I dont know if its the personal aspect that inspired Kazan to film this movie but whatever is the reason this film is an absolute masterpiece. Deeped in the characters but at the same time an epic story.
Its message remains so modern. Even if more decades pass America America will always be the story of every man who is looking for a better life, it will be the story of imigrants from all over the world.
