This movie addresses a heavy issue without being over-the-top or over-sentimental, yet very human. The German actors, particularly Ulrich Muhe & Ulrich Tukur, who can also be found in THE LIFE OF OTHERS, are simply so good that they give you chills to the bone, and Mathieu Kassovitz is cute and sincere as the kind Catholic boy.
