Review of Amen. (2002) by Mo T — 17 Jun 2008
Excellent film. It not olny portrays the nazi side and the scientist side, but also the religious points of view, using the Vatican's role inside the war. The script's very well built, and acieves in presenting the stories of both a nazi scientist that tries to stop the massive killing of jews, and a Jesuit priest that tries, with all his means, to fight Nazism, both inside and out the Vatican.
The performances are very convincing, and overall it's a really sad story, yet really good, still.
