Review of Amelia (2009) by Megan W — 06 Feb 2010
Don't get me wrong, I love the entire mystery behind Amelia Earheart. But, this move didn't quite give me any more information about her. Sure, the movie did revolve around her love interest, George Putnum, and her possible affair, but I felt like Hilary Swank didn't allow the audience see who Amelia really was as a person.
Her career was a central part in the movie and what she went through, but I never saw how Amelia felt about anything, not even her husband. Overall, the movie felt rushed, underdeveloped, and ultimately left me asking more questions about this person than before I started the movie.
