The producers and writers of this flop should be sued for malpractice. How can you turn the life of one of the most interesting figures of the 20th century into a dull, dreary film? Start by focusing on a melodramatic love story and develop it poorly.
Then ignore many of Earhart's achievements. Then make up stuff. It's ALWAYS more interesting than the facts, right? Swank and Gere have zero chemistry together and the story of a woman proving women can do anything a man can do if given the chance is lost in this confused and disappointing story.
What a waste.
