Review of Amelia (2009) by Gabby E — 05 Apr 2010

I guess life can be like that. Flying around the world one minute. Nothing, the next. Nothing? Nothing, maybe, but not nobody. Amelia, decades after her time makes her way into the airspace around people like me, who had never heard of before.

The movie is rather flat, though and never excites (you know the talented actors are trying to keep the tone mellow, but you feel something is missing), until perhaps the climax provides an element of suspense (I didn't know what was going to happen to her!).

I accepted that flatness for what life tends to be - rather boring for the most. And if you are determined, eager and wait your chance, you can make that escape once in a while. Take off into the blue when you can!
