Review of Amelia (2009) by Antwan J. J — 06 Jun 2012
Amelia was definitely a trailblazer of aviation for women in the 1930s she broke through many barries that often were thought to be impossible setting records that just baffled the world and seeing her love of flying grow and grow each and everyday was a sight to behold especially going the distance and being the first woman do to it though the story of her life was and is beautiful and yet her disappearance even today is unexplainable all in all she was a inspiration to women everywhere and may as well have been an anbassodor of aviation the queen of the skies they called in those glorious days of flight Overall I quite enjoyed the film and soaked up every bit of information about her life as much as possible this I must say whereeber Amelia is i'm quite sure she's flying high and plotting courses unknown to to anyone in spirit kudos to Hilary Swank and Richard Gere and the rest of the cast and special thanks to the Director I simply loved the film and it paid an honor, a tribute to Amelia a woman who paid the way for female pilots over the world and in society.
