Review of Amelia (2009) by Mark H — 13 Jan 2010

This was ok. It's characters not developed enough, left a few questions and we could of learned more about the legend that is Earhart, I was always of the belief she was very head strong and single minded Swank got into her role superbly, Gere was plain, Mcgregor's part was insignificant and Eccleston's character though was a significant part in the disappearance was thinly given any depth.

This seemed like a quick fix film, with a poor explanation of her achievements. Below average worth a watch just to see Swank's performance and how close she portrayed Amelia. A worthy 4/10.
