Review of Ambushed (2013) by Ryan B — 16 Apr 2014
Good but not great. Since this was my first Dolph Lundgren movie I didn't know what to expect, so I gave it a chance and I was a little surprised that it intrigued me. It had the action vibe going for it but it lacked the heart racing feeling that I get with most action films.
It had a good plot and the story had it's twists and it did have my eyes on the screen the whole time. The thing I didn't like about it the most was that the fighting scenes didn't look realistic and the they looked fakish.
The acting wasn't great but it did have the potential to be great drug/crooked cop movie, it just lacked a few things. So overall it's worth watching once but after that I wouldn't give it a second look.
Hardly recommended.
