Review of Amazonia Vertical (2006) by Katie G — 17 Jul 2012

One of the driest documentaries I've ever watched. I was looking forward to seeing the lovely Amazonian jungles, animals, and critters, along with watching the climbers go where few have been, but the narrating is a huge yawn! For someone to have accomplished what this man did, couldn't he have at least sounded somewhat excited? Interesting to also hear repeated messages of activism, including pointing fingers at the local Indians who capture animals for food and family pets.

Too bad. This could have been a beautiful piece of work.
