Review of Amazing Journey: The Story of The Who (2007) by Keith T — 18 Apr 2008
The Who have not exactly been ignored by documentary film makers, with both The Kid's Are Alright from circa 1980 and the 30 years Of Rhythm and Blues film from the early 1990s. This excellent new rockumentary however brings the story of The Who bang up-to-date. It documents the whole Who story, including the almost two decades that have passed since that last one. Loads of great concert footage and good interviews with Roger,Pete the family and friends of the departed members. The likes of Noel Gallagher and Sting also talk about The Who's influence on them.
There are even more insightful interviews in the extras on the DVD version.
