Review of Amanda Knox: Murder on Trial in Italy (2011) by Familiar S — 08 Aug 2011
An interesting movie about a controversial real life case & supported by fine performances. While not outstanding, it's just about watchable if you're interested in the case. Stays loyal to the actual events as far as possible (provided that my limited knowledge is accurate enough), but doesn't have a documentary touch to it. I was glad it didn't do so since there's no actual footage in it (again, if I didn't miss out anything). I really don't know whether or not it's a miscarriage of justice, but going by the details available w.r.t. this spooky case till date (August 9, 2011)..... oh well, I'll rather save it for you (if at all you don't know it already and are concerned in digging it up). Hope the curtain over the facts will unfold in its entirety before the final hearing and the verdict does justice to the future of these innocent/guilty youngsters.
Couldn't help using the brackets..... and am getting used to use them more often than not. So if you're a friend of mine who cares to read my comments, I can only try my best to see to it that you fall victim to the least possible mess. As for a random user who stumbles upon it by chance, it shouldn't matter for he/she is most likely to avoid the future traumas.
