Review of Amadeus (1984) by Troy F — 29 Dec 2010
A stunning triumph! A wonderful masterpiece! Only so many words can describe the excellence of Amadeus as it centers around the famously known Wolfgang Amadeus Mozart. The cast consists of mostly unknowns but it's nothing to be turned off by, they give off some excellent performances that are much beyond anything you could expect! I loved the proficient use of cinematography and the art direction, a thing I don't often note in film reviews, is certainly worth noting here as it was some of the finest I've ever seen on screen.
It was simply a joy to view. A brilliant film from start to end that is worth being praised for these many breathtaking achievements I've mentioned, and of course much praise to starring actor Tom Hulce as Mozart and director Milos Forman.
