Review of Amadeus (1984) by Bryan C — 12 Dec 2013
This one didn't do much for me, Oscar or not. I can acknowledge the quality of the artistic achievement(costumes, music, etc.) while still pointing out that I was not particularly engaged by the movie or the actors. (I also couldn't get over the principal from Ferris Bueller as royalty). It is telling that I still had 30 minutes to go in this very long movie when my iTunes 24-hour rental expired and I couldn't be bothered to see how it ended.
Grade: C.
