Review of Amadeus (1984) by Joseph A — 06 Jul 2014
I once read an article stating that while we can easily recognize those who are less capable than us, we are incapable of understanding how much further along the truly brilliant are. Amadeus is the story of someone who recognizes true genius and cannot accept it.
While not historically accurate, it tells a haunting, profound story of how truly damning mediocrity can be, and how infinitely worse it can be to recognize that.
