Review of Amadeus (1984) by Sergio R — 19 May 2013
Beautifully filmed, terrifically acted and impressively produced, Amadeus is astonishing in every frame, combining one of the most splendid music of human history, complex storytelling with brutal performances from F. Murray Abraham and Tom Hulce. A masterpiece from Milos Forman that defines the art in cinema.
You can think whatever you want about Mozart or Salieri because both have so clear their objectives and you can be identified with one or another, there is also deftly funny moments. A grandiose cinematographical achievement with technical and artistical perfection.
