Wow this is a good movie, and that's putting it mildly. If you haven't seen this movie it's about the life and death of the famous classical music composer Wolfgang Amadeus Mozart. I have to admit that it was a bit surprising to see the film's iconic character on the big screen. When I first saw this movie I was confused as to why Tom Hulce portrayed Mozart as a drunken, giggly and playful blowhard. I thought, "that can't be Mozart", but when I did a little research I found out that that is how he actually acted on a regular basis.

The film went on to win 40 or so awards around the world, including 8 Academy Awards. This isn't in any way a surprise to me, and it shouldn't be to anyone who has seen the movie. Whether or not the story is true or make believe, it makes for one hell of a good story any day. If you haven't seen the movie then I highly encourage you to consider it. You won't regret it.

My Consensus: a solid A.
