Whenever you see a film, the film must have something to grip an audience. A hook or inciting action to begin the film. If the film's inciting action doesn't grab hold of you in the first 30 minutes of the film, it is not going to be well done.

If the hook is great and grabs hold of you, then we got a film to watch. But there is more to a film than just a hook, like acting, the key part of any film. When the acting, directing, scenery, makeup, cinematography, effects, and chemistry all come together in a film, then it is a masterpiece.

Now, a masterpiece is a term that I use not very often. A film can be good or even amazing, but if there is a slight thing wrong with it, then I don't give it the title of masterpiece. A true masterpiece comes about every so often every few years with such films as Shakespeare In Love, Avatar, Milk, The King's Speech, Good Will Hunting, Elizabeth, Pride & Prejudice, Sense and Sensibility, and Dreamgirls to name a few.

These films are some of my favorite films of all time, and now there is one more to add to this list. Amadeus is nothing less than a triumphant masterpiece, even when there are scenes with Wolfgang Amadeus Mozart talking about music in keys that are so over my head that I don't understand.

I feel the passion that is portrayed in every single one of his operas. I feel the jealousy and anger faced against Mozart by Mr. Salieri who is a fellow composer himself. The film is based with a flashback of Salieri in his old age and confessing to a priest whether or not he murdered Mozart.

The film follow's Mozart's and Salieri's life as the intertwine with each other. The raw passion for music is obvious and the jealousy is evident. The only question is if Salieri murdered Mozart or not? See the film and find out.

Magnificent masterpiece! BRAVO!!!
