Review of Amadeus (1984) by Brandon S — 08 Aug 2015
What is there to say about a film like Amadues that hasn't already been said, it's a masterpiece from Forman that is the story of the interactions between composers Salieri and Mozart through multiple stages in their careers.
The performances are top notch and the way the story is laid out as narrated by a crazed Salieri from an insane asylum is haunting and beautiful at the same time. The set pieces are all extremely lavish and period accurate as are the costumes.
Also features multiple career defying roles from Abraham and Hulce.
