Review of Alvin and the Chipmunks: The Road Chip (2015) by Muhammad Joshua J — 27 Dec 2015

I mean it's not a bad movie nor it is a good movie. It's a good movie for kids but for the adults who grew up with the cartoons. This movie doesn't do any justice.

There was a boring and cliche plot which can be a bit boring at most parts. Although some parts were funny and adorable, I think that's the only thing that they can sell in this movie. I have to give props to the actors and actresses.

They really made it really convincing. Imagine this, there ain't no real chipmunks in real life during filming. They really pretended well. Don't get me started on the music.

The music just sounded like a very annoying cover of your favorite songs especially the god awful, "Uptown Funk". Please stop it. I rather go back to the time when Alvin & the Chipmunks actually have their own songs instead of covers. Originality much?

Only kids can really enjoy this movie. Adults can't really do. It can be sometimes annoying.
