Review of Alvin and the Chipmunks: Chipwrecked (2011) by Bailey B — 17 Mar 2012
After the first two movies flopped, Chipwrecked is the best of the series. I feel as though this film pleases all fans of the Chipmunks, the total opposite of what the first two films did. The first one was the worst (with a good reason because the characters had to be developed slowly), the second one was the middle one (DUH!) (because everything was already set up, just expanded on.
The Chipettes had to be slowly introduced alongside the already-developed Chipmunks, which brings the rating down EXTREMELY). Chipwrecked was the only movie in the series in which all major characters were already developed and no time was wasted with explanation of the characters.
However, it doesn't rate 100% because too much time was wasted developing the character of the girl on the island (I forget her name). Otherwise it would be 100%. VERY IMPRESSED.
