I was a big fan of the 80s version back in the day. While I liked it better than expected, I found myself rolling my eyes at some parts. But all that matters is that my brother and the other kids in the audience really liked it.

I could tell by all the hyena pitched giggles coming from the little guys in the audience. That's all that matters. After all, it's a kids movie.
