I LOVED Alvin and the Chipmunks as a kid and was so excited when I found out it was going to be made into a feature film. After seeing the trailer I was even more excited to see it. Unfortunately it didn't live up to the expectation I was hoping for.
It was funny in parts and an average movie for children, but for a big fan of Alvin I thought it lacked the substance it needed to be a great movie.
