Review of Alvin and the Chipmunks (2007) by Jordan K — 03 Aug 2011
I used to love this movie. After seeing this recently on TV, I rethink that it's a so-so movie, but I am not that type of guy who likes neither talking animals or singing. Alvin, Theodore, and Simon move into loveable loser Dave's house and party it up, although he is very strict with them.
The chipmunks have a singing talent, and soon Dave's former college roomate, Ian Hawk, is a recording artist who wants to sign them a deal. But the chipmunks have easily gotten along with Ian and want to stay with him instead of Dave now.
I found this as a so-so movie, although as a kid I did like it. It's kinda cute, I guess, but I didn't find much in it. Kids will like it, but adults will most likely have mixed thoughts about it.
