Review of Alvin and the Chipmunks (2007) by Dawn C — 14 Apr 2012

This movie was great my 5 year old and I saw it twice in theasters! They did not go over the top and stayed true to the original cartoons! I was a fan of the cartoon from the 80s and 90s and was afraid this movie would be as bad as Garfield but I was very wrong! This movie was cute and funny and Jason Lee was great as Dave! The chipmunks were cute and had funny lines but they never took it ranchy or took it too far(like in the cat and the hat) !It was absolutely perfect and I will own it on DVD!!!!
