Review of Alvin and the Chipmunks (2007) by David D — 03 Nov 2012
With the franchise re-imagined, an origin story told well, a cute script full of funny dialogue and lines fans will never forget, a great cast that features Jason Lee as Dave Seville, David Cross as Ian Hawke, and the voices of Justin Long as Alvin, Matthew Gray Gubler as Simon and Jesse McCartney as Theodore, songs that will have you tapping your feet, scenes and sequences that are fun to watch and a fantastic pace and flow, Alvin and the Chipmunks will bring back memories for adults who grew up with them as kids, while it introduces the characters to a new generation of kids that they will love again and again.
