Review of Altered States (1980) by Arielle R — 28 Jan 2008
This movie still lingers in my memory. I can't shake the inescapable question of 'what is our purpose.' It was strategically conveyed through this movie, yet never truly answered. Lovely. Though the end is a bit of a stretch for a conclusion to the immensely inquisitive opening it is worth watching more than once.
