Review of Altered States (1980) by Sebastian T — 18 Mar 2009
Classicaly associated as one of those movies you ought to see when you are tripping, and appropriately so. It features highly psychedelic and existential imagery, as well as engaging dialogue. It gets inappropriately a little hokey towards the end as William Hurt's character digresses down the the evolutionary chain, but if you like psychological sci-fi movies, this one is not to be missed.
